Dried Turkey Liver is best suited to:

• Dogs over 12 weeks of age.*

• Small to large dogs, depending on the individual piece.

• Dogs who enjoy a firm and crunchy texture.

It may not be suitable for:

• Dogs under 12 weeks of age.

• Dogs with a known turkey allergy or sensitivity.

• Dogs prone to gulping treats without chewing them properly.

• Toy and very small breeds where the individual piece is too large or thick to manage safely.

*Our Dried Turkey Liver pieces are approximately 5–11cm long and weigh between 10g and 40g. They have a firm, crunchy texture and can be snapped into smaller pieces.

Whole pieces are generally better suited to dogs that can comfortably manage their size and thickness.

They may be too large for toy and very small breeds, although smaller portions may be appropriate if broken down sufficiently.

They may also suit healthy senior dogs with good dental health, provided the individual piece is appropriate.

*Age alone does not determine suitability. Puppies and young dogs of the same age can vary considerably in size, chewing ability and experience. Always choose an appropriately sized chew for your individual dog and supervise them closely while chewing.

Dried Turkey Liver is a crunchy, air-dried organ treat that can be snapped into smaller pieces.

Although the manufacturer describes this as a “quick daily snack,” we recommend feeding liver treats in moderation rather than making them a substantial or frequent part of your dog's diet.

Liver naturally contains vitamin A, and excessive intake of vitamin A overtime can be harmful.

We recommend:

• Introducing gradually, particularly if your dog isn't accustomed to organ treats.

• Offering as an occasional treat or reward.

• Considering your dog's size, overall diet and how much other liver or vitamin-A-rich food they receive when deciding how often to offer it.

• Avoiding frequent or excessive feeding of liver treats.

• Feeding under supervision.

• Removing any small pieces that could present a choking risk.

• Discarding the chew if it becomes small enough for your dog to swallow whole.

• Treats should not replace a complete and balanced diet.

• Taking the treat into account as part of your dog's overall daily treat allowance.

• Ensuring clean, fresh water is always available.
