Our Hairy Rabbit Ears are a natural, single-ingredient chew made from 100% rabbit and gently air-dried to preserve their natural flavour and nutritional value. With nothing unnecessary added, these wholesome treats provide dogs with a simple, natural chewing experience and gentle enrichment.
Primarily consisting of skin and cartilage, Rabbit Ears provide a relatively light, crunchy chew that is less demanding than many larger animal ears. They also contain naturally occurring collagen from their connective tissues.
Rabbit is considered a novel protein for many dogs, as it is less commonly fed than proteins such as chicken or beef. This makes rabbit an interesting alternative for owners looking to offer a less commonly fed animal protein.
Unlike many processed dog treats, Hairy Rabbit Ears retain their natural fur. The fur provides naturally occurring fibre that is not fully digested and may pass through the digestive tract, adding another dimension to the chewing experience.
Although physically light and less demanding to chew, Hairy Rabbit Ears contain 25% crude fat, making them a relatively rich natural treat. They are best offered as an occasional chew as part of a balanced diet.
