Age Suitability:

The individual products have different minimum age recommendations:

• Puffed Beef Lung — 8+ weeks*

• Flat Beef Gullet — 12+ weeks*

• Beef Curls — 12+ weeks*

• Beef Udders — 16+ weeks*

• Beef Ear with Hair — 6+ months*

Because the bundle contains a Beef Knee, which is a particularly hard bone-based chew, the bundle as a whole should be considered 12+ months*.

*Age alone does not determine suitability. Puppies and young dogs of the same age can vary considerably in size, chewing ability and experience. Always choose an appropriately sized chew for your individual dog and supervise them closely while chewing.

Chewing Style:

The seven products range from relatively accessible chewy treats to an extremely hard, dense bone-based chew.

The Beef Knee is particularly hard and is not suitable for every dog. It should not be given to dogs with damaged, weakened or painful teeth, dogs who aggressively bite down on very hard objects, or dogs who are likely to gulp pieces.

The other chews are softer than the Beef Knee but still vary considerably in firmness and texture. Individual product pages give more detailed information about each chew.

Dietary Considerations:

All seven treats are made from 100% beef, but their nutritional profiles vary considerably.

Across the bundle, crude protein ranges from 53.8% to 76.6%, while crude fat ranges from 3.8% to 31.7%.

This means the products aren't nutritionally interchangeable. If your dog has a particular dietary requirement, for example, a need to restrict fat, please check the nutritional analysis of each individual product before feeding.

Dogs With Dietary Sensitivities:

All seven products are made from 100% beef, making this a single-animal-protein bundle.

However, single protein does not mean hypoallergenic, and we don't use that term unless it can genuinely be supported. If your dog has a known beef allergy or sensitivity, this bundle is not appropriate.

The individual products also vary considerably in fat content, so if your dog is on a restricted-fat diet, please check the nutritional analysis of each product before feeding.

Dental Health:

Several of the products are firm or crunchy and involve chewing, but hardness should not be confused with dental safety. The Beef Knee in particular is an exceptionally hard bone-based chew and carries a risk of tooth fracture. It should therefore be avoided for dogs with existing dental problems or where your vet has advised against hard chews.

Always supervise your dog with natural chews. Choose an appropriate piece for your dog, monitor how they chew it and remove the treat if it becomes small enough to swallow, develops sharp or loose pieces, or your dog attempts to gulp large pieces.

Fresh drinking water should always be available.

Digestibility Level: Varied (individual products vary)

This bundle contains seven different types of natural beef chew, made from different parts of the cow. Their texture, density and digestibility therefore vary considerably.

Some of the treats are firm, crunchy and fibrous, while the Beef Knee is a very hard, dense bone-based recreational chew. The dried tissues surrounding the Beef Knee can be chewed and consumed, but the hard bone itself should not be considered fully digestible.

For this reason, the bundle should be treated as a collection of occasional treats and recreational chews, rather than as a food product or something to be consumed in one sitting.

Feeding

• Introduce each new chew gradually, particularly if your dog isn't accustomed to natural treats.

• Offer one new product at a time when possible, so you can see how your dog responds to it.

• Choose an appropriate piece for your dog's size and chewing style.

• Always supervise your dog while chewing.

• Remove any chew that becomes small enough to swallow, develops sharp or loose pieces, or if your dog attempts to gulp large pieces.

• Provide fresh drinking water.

• Treats should be given as part of a balanced diet, with the amount fed taken into account alongside your dog's normal food.

Particularly important: the Beef Knee

The Beef Knee is substantially harder and denser than the other products in the bundle.

It is intended as a recreational chew rather than something to be eaten quickly, and we recommend supervised chewing sessions of around 20 minutes as a practical guideline, rather than a guaranteed safe time limit.

Hard bone chews can carry a risk of tooth damage, choking or digestive obstruction, so the Beef Knee should only be offered to dogs that are appropriate for this type of chew. Remove it if it becomes damaged or develops sharp or loose pieces.
